September is typically the first meeting of the club year. Because we meet at Bozeman High School, the club does not have regular monthly meeting during the summer months (June – August). Instead of summer meetings, we do “Shop Tours” where meetings are held in the personal shops of members able to accommodate multiple people at once. This summer, Rick McCort and Jim Rendle generously opened their shops up to the club. Many thanks to both Rick and Jim for their hospitality!
With the new club year, we welcome two new officers – Xander Kraft and John Murray. Xander is the new Vice President and John is the new Treasurer. Thank you to Rick McCourt and Jim Rendle who previously served in these positions.
With the election of new officers, there was no regular monthly demo. Instead, we held a round-table discussion of “Aha Moments”, where club members shared experiences that led to a significant step forward in their knowledge, abilities, or understanding of their craft. Many insightful lessons to learn were presented.
